A few days ago when I tried, it wouldn't let me. So after restoring to the previous version of windows, I needed to block the update so version would not be installed again. Go to the link in Alden Rey's post above for the troubleshooter to hide updates. Then I went back into Device Manager and did as described in laudablepus' post gardenman's post above and tried again to update the driver and found an older ATI Radeon Graphics driver in my computer that wasn't listed when I was in version So I chose that one and when it was finished installing, my screen is back to normal!

I have asked the same question of Radeon and they came back that the Radeon is dirver old to use for Rradeon Despite me using it for about two years. Have a great day! Adding my comments raadeon I ran into atii the same issue on an radepn desktop I have that also has a Radeon graphics chip. So now, the only ATI drivers they offer are for the integrated chipset video -- but those might work on yours. Didn't find what you were looking for?
